School Services
Balance to Bloom offers customisable services to support schools, their staff, students and community.
Services may include student assessment or screening, staff support and learning or before, during or after school programs.
We pride ourselves on working closely with schools to design and deliver programs individual to a schools needs and budget. If you don't see what you need below please get in touch to discuss if we can provide support or guide you to other services available to you.
School Screening
School screening involves assessing a student's motor skills, executive function, sensory processing, and other areas to identify any potential issues that may impact their participation in school activities or academic performance.
School screening is recommended to be completed in early primary school to help identify children who may require additional support at home, in the classroom or through additional therapy services, to develop foundational skills.
School Programs
Balance to Bloom offer a number of school programs that can be run before, during or after school. Our school programs are designed to complement the curriculum and can incorporate fine and gross motor skills, puberty and hygiene education, emotional regulation and sport to support children with and without disabilities to thrive in the classroom.
All programs are designed by an occupational therapist with the support of teachers and school staff to ensure good school fit.
Staff Support
Balance to Bloom work collaboratively to provide training and guidance to teachers in areas such as fine motor development, behaviour support, emotional regulation, play development, and socialising in the classroom and school. We can provide workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching, supporting teachers through knowledge development and by providing practical strategies to implement in the classroom. We provide resources, materials, and tools to support the diverse needs of your classroom to have a positive impact on their learning and development both in and outside of the classroom.
We pride ourselves on providing tailored services to meet your schools needs. Services can be tailored both the school community and age group. Services may be provided before, during or after school hours based on school preference and availability.
