School Screening

Balance to Bloom provides school-based occupational therapy screening for Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Year 1 students across Perth and surrounding areas.

This structured, strengths-based screening service helps schools and families identify emerging fine motor, sensory, regulation and executive functioning needs and provides practical strategies for both school and home before they impact confidence and learning.

Screening is offered class-wide; however, parent consent is required and participation is opt-in only.

Student Programs

Balance to Bloom offer a number of school programs that can be run before, during or after school. Our school programs are designed to complement the curriculum and can incorporate fine and gross motor skills, puberty and hygiene education, emotional regulation and sport to support children with and without disabilities to thrive in the classroom.

All programs are designed by an occupational therapist with the support of teachers and school staff to ensure good school fit.

Professional Development

Balance to Bloom offers practical, evidence-informed occupational therapy trainings designed to build staff confidence and whole-school capacity. These repeatable professional development sessions and student programs focus on regulation, executive function, trauma-informed practice, social development, sensory processing, and academic access. Each training can be delivered as a workshop, deep dive, or implementation-focused session with optional follow-up coaching, allowing schools to choose a format that aligns with their needs, staff experience, and strategic priorities.

We pride ourselves on providing tailored services to meet your schools needs. Services can be tailored both the school community and age group. Services may be provided before, during or after school hours based on school preference and availability.
