Balance to Bloom offers occupational therapy services for children and their support networks across several domains including emotional regulation, play, learning, socialising, and self-care. 

What services look like will depend on your child and family’s goals.

Fine Motor & Handwriting

Assisting your child to increase coordination and control of their hands for everyday tasks. Assessing and supporting handwriting.

Functional Capacity Assessment

A comprehensive review of your child's abilities and needs.  Assesses beneficial supports and helps you better understand your child's needs.

We pride ourselves on providing tailored services to meet your child and family’s needs. Services include collaborative goal setting, assessment, intervention, and reporting. Services may be completed in the home, at school or in the community.

  • Do I need a referral?
    You do not require a referral for services at Balance to Bloom. Dependent on your funding source, information from your GP may be required. Refer your child or family for our services here.
  • Does my child need a diagnosis?
    No, at Balance to Bloom we work with children and families for several reasons. Whether your child is yet to be diagnosed, has a diagnosis, or just needs a helping hand, we are here for you.
  • What does our process look like?
    Balance to Bloom was born out of the need to personalised, family-centred services. Our initial processes include information gathering, collaborative goal setting, and assessment followed by therapeutic intervention. For more information, we have put together a short document that outlines our process and costs attached.
  • What funding sources can I use?
    Clients privately funding therapy may be able to partially fund up to 5 sessions through Medicare, in consultation with their GP, or through private health insurance. Balance to Bloom accepts clients through NDIS who are self- or plan-managed.
